timmy

Timmy is a Pascal unit for creating chat bots. It provides the TTimmy object, which is a data type that you can assign your variables to to make bots. Once that is done, you can start adding keywords for messages, and get the bot answers to the end user's messages. It's easy to create a bot with Timmy. The unit also provides some other string-related functions, alongside with TStrArray type, which is actually array of string (but it's shorter to call it TStrArray, isn't it?). Timmy is released under GNU LGPL v3. That means it respects your freedom and you can use it with your program whether if your program is free software or proprietary software.

CrossGraph

A plotting engine and a visual component that draw what MathParser computes: curves with their discontinuities, intersections and extrema, cartesian and polar systems, and surfaces z = f(x, y) with contour lines. The engine samples on worker threads, knows nothing about a canvas and builds headless; the component is a thin layer over it. Free Pascal 3.2.2 and newer builds it: the sort in CrossVision.Geometry that once needed function references is written out in the same unit. Delphi 10.2 Tokyo and newer builds it as well.

MathParser

An expression parser and a virtual machine. A formula is compiled to a flat byte array and evaluated by a linear pass over it, with no allocation on the path of an ordinary formula. On x86-64 an optional accelerator compiles that bytecode to machine code and hands anything it declines back to the interpreter, so an answer is never fast but wrong. Results are cached by shape: once 2 + 3 has been compiled, 5 + 7 reuses the same script and only writes the numbers into a copy. 163 functions to call and 249 names in the table, your own functions and variables bound by address, symbolic differentiation. The Lazarus parser packages require FCL and define NOFORMS and NOGRAPHICS, so they install without LCL. WebAssembly uses a separate console configuration. Two units ask for more at their defaults, Thread through Application.HandleException and BlobManager through TGraphic; drop the defines and add the LCL to the package if you want them.
