Atari FontMaker is a tool for creating Atari fonts both in mono and color graphics mode. Atari FontMaker is written in Delphi up to version 1.5.x, since version 1.6.x the project has been converted to C# and moved to another repository: https://github.com/matosimi/atari-fontmaker
Action! is a programming language for the Atari 8-bit family of microcomputers. It features an integrated editor, a debugger, and a 6502 compiler. Action! was created by Clinton Parker and released on cartridge by Optimized Systems Software (OSS) in 1983. Its syntax is similar to that of ALGOL 68. Action! is significant for its high performance, which allows games and graphics demos to be written in a high-level language without the use of hand-written assembly language code. Action! language constructs were designed to map cleanly to 6502 opcodes. In 2015, Clinton Parker released the Action! 3.6 source code to the public under the terms of GPL. This project is intended to preserve the Action! source code, provide fixes for known bugs, and add new features in version 3.7. Gameplay is a frontend for MS-DOS, Windows 3.1, Windows 98, ScummVM, Apple II, Atari 800, Atari ST, Amiga, Sega Saturn, Super Nintendo, Nintendo64 and DSP Emulator. It lets you play games easily and quickly — no complications, no configuration needed
NOTE: As of r816, Nucleus source code is licensed under GPLv3. (8th Oct 2017) Nu|cleus [ˈnjuːklɪəs] - The central and most important part of an object, movement, or group, forming the basis for its activity and growth. This is yet another long-term project (YALP?). The aim is to write a portable GUI/OS for Atari ST, Amiga and DOS. The code must be small, fast and support modern GUI features. ie: Embedded component controls. The code current compiles with Highspeed Pascal (Atari ST) or FreePascal. I hope to have it compiling for the Amiga (also using Highspeed Pascal), and supporting a built in p-code compiler/interpreter for cross platform development.
Prosta gra na Atari 800XL napisana w Mad Pascalu jednak bez użycia specyficznych dla niego bibliotek, powinno to ułatwić translację na inne języki dostępne na A8.
NEWS: The MPL language is now completely defined. No more language changes are to be made. The compiler is complete and should be easy to translate to other languages if you so choose. MPL is a small, simple language based on BCPL, B, C and Jesusonic. The compiler and interpreter are written in portable Pascal. I have successfully compiled MPL for CP/M, DOS, Windows, Atari ST, Amiga and the Tandy Colour Computer. MPL is designed to be tiny in every way, while implementing all the important features of BCPL & B. The result is a compiler written in a high level language (PASCAL) which compiles to under 16K (CP/M). The symbol table, language syntax, and bytecode are all optimized for size. I will write a MPL Reference Manual in time. Contact myself if you want to help get that written.
This project is an effort to develop open source software for all old platforms, like MSX, Commodore, AMIGA, Atari, ..... and collect technical information about old platforms, keeping the "old skool" flame alive.
Old Pascal sourcecode, compatible with Turbo Pascal (PC) and Pure Pascal (Atari ST), including an Eliza clone. Written for and at Heinrich-Hertz-Schule.
A set of bindings (for C, C++, Pascal and Object Pascal) for the GEM desktop environment on MS-DOS, Atari TOS and Linux (GEMIX) as well as an application framework for C++ and Object Pascal optimized for developing GEM desktop applications.
