Hello!

I downloaded 64-bit toolset in April (afair). Is there any new version available?
Also, is it possible to deploy the pre-compiled tools in 32-bit format? It can be run in Windows 64-bit easily, and at the same time 32-bit format would let one do cross-compilation.

Sincerely yours,
Eugene Mayevski

No, but building them from source is no problem.

See above :)

I have compiled the daily snapshot for Win32, but how do I build win64 RTL (and then projects for Win64)? I tried running "fpc -Twin64", but it gave me invalid parameter error. Well, win64 is not in the supported parameter list :). What should I look at?

I the top level fpc/ use

make CPU_TARGET=x86_64 OS_TARGET=win64 build install PREFIX=<win64installpath>

PV> make CPU_TARGET=x86_64 OS_TARGET=win64 build install PREFIX=<win64installpath>

Thank you for the tip.

When I use those settings, I get the 64-bit toolset. What I wanted is to have 32-bit toolset and 64-bit RTL, in order to cross-compile the libraries for Win64.

The process also creates a cross-compiler ppcrossx64.exe

Instead of 'install' use 'crossinstall' with PREFIX set to your normal 2.1.1 installation. The crossinstall will only install the cross-compiler and the units.
