StdCtrls unit

Standard controls used in the Lazarus Component Library (LCL).

stdctrls.pp contains standard controls used in Lazarus Component Library (LCL) applications. Most of the controls are found on the Standard tab in the Lazarus IDE component palette, including:

The following controls are added to the Additional tab in the Lazarus IDE component palette:

TStaticText

Classes and records

`TButton`	class	Implements a push button control.
`TButtonActionLink`	class	Links a button control to a basic action.
`TButtonControl`	class	Specifies a base class for button controls.
`TCheckBox`	class	A label with a box which can contain a check mark.
`TComboBox`	class	Implements a control with an edit box and a drop-down list allowing one of several options to be chosen.
`TComboBoxStyleHelper`	helper	Helper for the TComboBoxStyle type.
`TCustomButton`	class	The base class for a push button control.
`TCustomCheckBox`	class	The base class for a check box component.
`TCustomComboBox`	class	The base class for combo-box components.
`TCustomEdit`	class	The base class for controls presenting editable text.
`TCustomGroupBox`	class	The base class for TGroupBox, TRadioGroup and TCheckGroup.
`TCustomLabel`	class	Control used to show static text optionally using multiple lines.
`TCustomListBox`	class	The base class for TListBox.
`TCustomMemo`	class	The base class for multi-line text controls.
`TCustomScrollBar`	class	The base class for TScrollBar.
`TCustomStaticText`	class	The base class for TStaticText.
`TEdit`	class	Implements an edit control with a single line of text.
`TGroupBox`	class	A container that allows a number of objects to be grouped physically and conceptually on a form.
`TLabel`	class	Control used to display static text, possibly in multiple lines and rotated by an arbitrary angle.
`TListBox`	class	Control which displays a scrollable list of values.
`TMemo`	class	Control used to display and edit multi-line text.
`TMemoScrollbar`	class	A scrollbar for use in Memo controls.
`TRadioButton`	class	Implement a radio button control.
`TScrollBar`	class	A control that allows the user to scroll the content in an associated control by moving a slider.
`TStaticText`	class	Control used to display a text value which does not change.
`TToggleBox`	class	A labelled box capable of being checked or unchecked.

`CreateEmulatedTextHintFont`	function	Gets the font instance used for an emulated TextHint display.
`Register`	procedure	Registers components declared in the unit.
