LazUtilities unit
Contains miscellaneous utility routines and variables used in the Lazarus IDE and LCL.
lazutilities.pas is part of the
LazUtils package.

CompareBoolean | function | Compares the specified Boolean values. |
CompareCaret | function | Gets the relative order for the specified caret positions based on the X and Y positions. |
ComparePointers | function | Gets the relative order for the specified Pointers. |
ComparePoints | function | Gets the relative order for the specified points based on their X and Y members. |
CreateFirstIdentifier | function | Gets the name for the first identifier represented by the value specified in Identifier. |
CreateNextIdentifier | function | Gets the name for the next identifier following the value specified in Identifier. |
FreeThenNil | procedure | Ensures that the specified object instance is freed and set to Nil. |
GetEnumValueDef | function | Gets the ordinal position for an enumeration value with the specified name. |
GetSkipCheckByKey | function | Gets and executes the function assigned to an implementation variable using the specified argument. |
MergeSort | procedure | Implements a merge/sort for TStrings or TFPList. |
MergeSortWithLen | procedure | Implements a merge/sort algorithm for a list of pointers with the given length. |
RoundToCardinal | function | Rounds the specified Extended value to a Cardinal value. |
RoundToInt | function | Rounds the specified Extended value to an Integer value. |
SetSkipCheckByKeyProc | procedure | Sets the value for an implementation variable to the specified function. |
StrToDouble | function | Converts the specified string value to a Double type. |
TruncToCardinal | function | Truncates the extended value and returns a Cardinal type. |
TruncToInt | function | Truncates the extended value and returns an Integer type. |
