Action! Programming Language

Action! is a programming language for the Atari 8-bit family of microcomputers. It features an integrated editor, a debugger, and a 6502 compiler. Action! was created by Clinton Parker and released on cartridge by Optimized Systems Software (OSS) in 1983. Its syntax is similar to that of ALGOL 68. Action! is significant for its high performance, which allows games and graphics demos to be written in a high-level language without the use of hand-written assembly language code. Action! language constructs were designed to map cleanly to 6502 opcodes. In 2015, Clinton Parker released the Action! 3.6 source code to the public under the terms of GPL. This project is intended to preserve the Action! source code, provide fixes for known bugs, and add new features in version 3.7. Join us at AtariAge https://forums.atariage.com/topic/217770-action-source-code for questions and discussions. Check out https://atariwiki.org/wiki/Wiki.jsp?page=Action for related information.

.Net Native Interface Library for Delphi

The .Net Native Interface Library (DotNetNativeInterface) is a native programming interface which provides a way for Delphi programming language to interact with applications and libraries written in any of the .Net languages (such as C#, VB.Net etc). Programmers can use DotNetNativeInterface native methods to access .Net 3rd party libraries or .Net Framework Libraries without the need for registry entries, COM registrations or changes to the .Net libraries. The following examples illustrate when you need to use DotNetNativeInterface native methods: 1. You want to access and use .Net Framework Class Library in your application. 2. You want to access and use 3rd party .Net Libraries in your application. Competitive Advantages: 1. Access to .Net Framework Class Library. 2. No COM registration of .Net Libraries is required when deployed. 3. Allows any programming language to consume .Net libraries as if they were native code.

Thrift Delphi Software Library

. Delphi Lightweight, language-independent software stack for point-to-point RPC implementation. Thrift provides clean abstractions and implementations for data transport, data serialization, and application level processing. The code generation system takes a simple definition language as input and generates code across programming languages that uses the abstracted stack to build interoperable RPC clients and servers. Thrift makes it easy for programs written in different programming languages to share data and call remote procedures. With support for 28 programming languages, chances are Thrift supports the languages that you currently use.

MPL Bytecode Compiler

NEWS: The MPL language is now completely defined. No more language changes are to be made. The compiler is complete and should be easy to translate to other languages if you so choose. MPL is a small, simple language based on BCPL, B, C and Jesusonic. The compiler and interpreter are written in portable Pascal. I have successfully compiled MPL for CP/M, DOS, Windows, Atari ST, Amiga and the Tandy Colour Computer. MPL is designed to be tiny in every way, while implementing all the important features of BCPL & B. The result is a compiler written in a high level language (PASCAL) which compiles to under 16K (CP/M). The symbol table, language syntax, and bytecode are all optimized for size. I will write a MPL Reference Manual in time. Contact myself if you want to help get that written.
