DiskTool

DiskTool is a full featured file manager for the linux console or a terminal. It can copy, move, delete, edit, zip, unzip,and mark files for bulk operations. I have also taken a different approach to marking files and what you can do with them. For instance, you can mark a bunch of files in a directory, and then change to another directory and mark a bunch more files. You can keep doing this until you reach the marked files limit of 2000 if you want to. Then you can go to yet another directory and either copy or move ALL of the files you marked in ALL of those directories into one place. Of course DT does standard file functions like copy, move, and delete files or directories, but it also can zip and unzip files, edit files, rename files and directories, manage file permissions and file ownership (chmod and chown), create SymLinks, and even create a new directory

ZM_Program_Protector

Often, the viruses infect the programs file i.e. which have extensions (exe, COM, DLL, ocx...). And others virus (macros virus) infect the HTML file, images... to protect your files and especially when you are obliged to connect your USB key to infected computer, or if you want to share a directory in a network, there is an idea consists to rename your files by adding a string to the extensions has fine to change their types (*.exe --> exedd, html --> htmlff) and after you removes the added chains and thus restores their types. But that becomes tiresome if there are many files to rename and especially if you classified them in sub-directory. To automate the operation (rename / restore), I programmed ZM Programs Protector. With ZM Programs Protector it is enough to indicate the basic directory where your files exist and the files types to be protected and it do the remainder.

Dev-C++ for Homeworks

Orwell Dev-C++ with author authentication. Perfect for student homeworks, if you don't want your students to copy their homework files from others. Authenticated files are regular source files with student's name and a security hash added at the end. Any cheating attempt by copying in the files / changing name will invalidate the hash and can be detected by the teacher. In addition, paste in authenticated files is only allowed from one's own files. The CheckHash.exe tool checks the hash and reports the authentication status of of all .cpp files in the current directory. This tool is intended for teachers. How to install: simply download a Setup Release and install it. Alternatively, it is possible to just overwrite devcpp.exe in the original Dev-Cpp installation folder with the one in the zip release, and also add Auth.dll in the same folder.
