Roland Turcan

Hello all,

I am trying to compile Qt4Pas on Mac OS x 10.5 with this result:

Undefined symbols:
"QMenu::macMenu(void*)", referenced from:
_QMenu_macMenu in qt4pas.o
ld: symbol(s) not found
collect2: ld returned 1 exit status
make: *** [Qt4Pas.framework/Qt4Pas] Error 1

What can I do to get it compiled?

Thanks in advance.

can you verify if this function is available
in the Qt 4.7.X binary (with nm ?)
I do not have an osx for the moment.

The header qmenu.h says it should
I do no see a deprecated or something like that.

...
#ifdef Q_WS_MAC

    OSMenuRef macMenu(OSMenuRef merge=0);

#endif
...

Thanks. I have commented out #include "qmenu_c.cpp" line and I've got compiled.

To remove #iclude was good to get compiled qt4pas, but I was not able to compile lazarus. Therefore I had to comment out in qmenu_c.cpp:

#if defined DARWIN
//C_EXPORT void * QMenu_macMenu(QMenuH handle, void * merge)
//{
//      return (void *) ((QMenu *)handle)->macMenu((OSMenuRef)merge);
//}

#endif
