Another thing which have to be done is small cleanup of bindings: QWorkspace class can be removed, since we have QMdiArea.

gain in lib size is not worth the effort. Someone else might like to have it. What is added remains added.

Yes please, and replace all {$IFDEF USE_QT_44}
with {$IF DEFINED(USE_QT_44) or DEFINED(USE_QT_45)} to start with.

I compile now with -dUSE_QT_44 -dUSE_QT_45
(latter only used in qt4.pas)but this is too confusing for others.

Under CentOS 5 I've installed QT 4.5, as well as the RC2 of the bindings.

I'm getting this error when I attempt to build the 'mainwindow' demo:

./libqt4intf.so: undefined reference to `QApplication::sessionId() const' mainwindow.pas(585,1) Error: Error while linking
mainwindow.pas(585,1) Fatal: There were 1 errors compiling module, stopping Fatal: Compilation aborted
Error: /usr/bin/ppc386 returned an error exitcode (normal if you did not specify a source file to be compiled)

Any ideas about where this is coming from/how to get around it?
