Hi Den,
I finally got Qt 4.3 to compile on OS X. I had to install the latest Xcode and several additional SDK's that weren't required previously. Do you want a .dmg installer as before or should we wait a bit to see if there will be any more changes to the interface library?
Thanks.
-Phil

I was just going to mail to you, to say that you can wait a bit. I am getting alot of requests, so things will change.
But you can already try to compile the binding once, that kind of preparation is not entirely lost.

Den Jean
In the last days there weren't changes to v1.35
I would like to do some development with lcl-qt, but I don't really want to build qt, build a dmg, and all those things....
Maybe Phil could create a dmg now =P and another in some weeks if things change
thanks,
Felipe,
I was just testing Qt 4.3 with Lazarus last night. I'll send Den a .dmg tomorrow.
Is the PowerPC build okay?
Thanks.

ummm ... my mac is intel. Do you have a intel mac?
thanks,
Felipe,
No, I don't have an Intel Mac. Have you tried the PowerPC libraries to see if they would work with OS X's Rosetta on Intel?
Thanks.

they should work, but then I also need to build my application for PowerPC (mixing ppc and x86 code isn't allowed in Rosetta) using the cross-compiler ... and then my gdb won't work ... so basically it's better that I build my own Qt and my own bindings
thanks,
Felipe,
The 2 scripts you need to create the Qt4Intf framework are included in Den's mac_qt4pas-xxx.zip.
If you want I can send you the .pmproj file I use to create the .dmg from the framework so Den can post both PowerPC and Intel .dmg's.
Thanks.

Yes, that would be interresting.
Althougth I don't know when I will have time to work on this. I need to priorise
Once you have Qt built (I just let it build overnight) then creating the interface library, framework and .dmg probably only takes 15 minutes, maybe less for you since you have a faster Mac.
Thanks.
