Hi all,

This is very important patch !

+ QAbstractScrollArea fully implemented as TCustomControl handle, so now we have scrolling widgets :)
+ TCustomTreeView partially implemented (as of QAbstractScrollArea) .
+ TCustomStringGrid now looks really nice ,and no more scrollbar painting issues
* Fixed SetScrollInfo according to Scrolling widgets implementation.

Also, Den if you watch this thread, pls read this: Additional missing widget's which we need to continue porting: 1.QScrollArea
2.QAbstractItemView (this should implement native QListView and QTreeView) 3.QGraphicsView (needed but later)
4.QCalendarWidget (needed for TCalendar).
tnx.

cheers,
zeljko

Thanks, applied

There was a wrong message to Den (about missing classes) .. ;) I couldn't find QAbstractItemView because I've grepped sources for QAbstractItemView_create() ... so where's constructor & destructor for this class ? QScrollArea isn't needed at this moment, QCalendarWidget is needed for native TCalendar component.

So, pls. Den can you provide QAbstractItemView_create() and QAbstractItemView_destroy() and if U have enough time QCalendarWidget.

tnx
zeljko

And while you are at it, it would be nice to get that try...finally..end fix for the unicode function so we don't have to patch it on each new bindings version

I don't see any problems with a try finally end, but IIRC it was a try .. except .. end. Putting it is can mean a quick fix, but IMO is no real solution. If I were Den, I would not accept that, maybe only temporary with a big {$WARNING ...}

nobody says that's "forever" solution, but just workaround :) I cannot continue qt porting without this workaround. Let somebody test qt port on win32 (or mac) and see if it raises AV, since it uses SetString().
It's enough to write some text into TEdit control and see if it segfaults. Den, pls if U can add QModelIndex into TODO list, since it is very important to implement all signals on ListViews and TreeViews ... (I'm currently implementing QAbstractItemView->QTreeView->QTreeWidget).

cannot create class instance of a class with abstract functions.

class Q_GUI_EXPORT QAbstractItemView : public QAbstractScrollArea ...

    virtual QRect visualRect(const QModelIndex &index) const = 0;

compile error:

In function QAbstractItemView__* QAbstractItemView_create(QWidget__*): lib/qabstractitemview.cppb:17: error: cannot allocate an object of abstract type QAbstractItemView ../qt-x11-opensource-src-4.2.3//include/QtGui/../../src/gui/itemviews/qabstractitemview.h:44: note: because the following virtual functions are pure within QAbstractItemView: ../qt-x11-opensource-src-4.2.3//include/QtGui/../../src/gui/itemviews/qabstractitemview.h:172: note: virtual QRect QAbstractItemView::visualRect(const QModelIndex&) const

ooops, didn't read qt docs well .... ;)
