Hi all,
Is anyone using a Lazarus/FreePascal combination to write and has had a Mac OS X application approved and is for sale on the Mac OS X App Store?
Thanks,
Dominique.

....and pay 30% Apple tax. Never!
Back on topic. I think [not 100% sure] Apple reversed the "you must use Apple development tools" law, so I guess in theory it should be possible now.

Hi,
EarMaster is a Lazarus/FreePascal application, approved and for sale on the Mac OS X App Store :-)

I once read that Apple does not accept native executables for the appstore, just Java stuff.

Does EarMaster exist for Android as well ?

Nope, but that's on a wish list :-)

Ehm... you know Apple (iPhone) Google (Android).
iPhone has Objective-C as primary language while Android has Java as primary language.
I don't even know whether a Java VM exists for iPhone...

Ooops silly me suffered from some twist of thoughts :-\ .
I supposed that it should be a common desire to create applications that are easily portable between iPhone and Android, but seemingly this is not that Lazarus in fact is the best way to create applications that are provided as well for iPhone as for Android.

ISTR that there were several FPC or Lazarus/FPC based apps in the store... at least there was talk of there being such... maybe their existence lead to this reversal if such has been done?? ;)
