Hi all,

A while ago, I know I came across a web page, or something that described how to use FPC to compile Delphi applications.

I have looked all over the FPC website, and can not seem to find it now.

Could someone please tell me the steps, or point me to the web page that shows you how to do this?

Thanks,

Chris

to Peter Vreman: Use the following commandline options "-Sd -Rintel"

There isn't anything special I have to do to the forms ect?

Chris

Hi Guys,

I would like to be able to read the gameport tom control my program, but I can't find any details on how to do this using WIN32 FPC.

The Windows DirectX API lists several methods from GetDeviceState and JoyGetPosEx but neither of these are available in the normal Windows unit. I tried the DirectX conversions from the Jedi website, but they all required Mmsystem which I can't find in fpc either !

Thomas Schatzl done an fpc DirectX conversion, but this is no longer available from his website.

Can anyone help with this problem?

Cheers

Andy

Up again. Note that this is just the files I've had on hd so there might be some files missing (especially the ddraw example stuff). If you have problems compiling please tell me and I'll upload the original package asap....
For the additional examples ... tell me if you need them and I'll upload them later somewhere (don't have them available right now)

Can anyone help with this problem?

Actually thought that it is not required anymore since FPC 1.1 already supports interfaces... forgot that it uses some external delphi libraries.... although I think someone is working on that issue already. (Might be wrong)

Hth,
Thomas

You mean packages/extra/mmsystem ?
