Hello,

I just wanted to ask how is the BeOS version progressing on CVS, does someone changed anything or is it in state we quick-ported it?

Thanks, Pavel Kanzelsberger

Compiler support has been added to both branches (1.0.x and 1.1). The RTL in the 1.0.x branch is being developped using a generic Posix implementation layer. Carl Eric Codere has been busy with that part.

Great :)

Can you estimate time when we will able to download the complete compiler and/or snapshots? Ie. How much of work has to be done...

Or will v1.1 include BeOS version?

I only integrated the port in the compiler and put the RTL in CVS. The progress depends on the time that Carl has for the port. But since he also does the m68k port that won't be that much. Carl is atm the only core developer that has BeOS installed and can do a port.

Okay, thanks for the information...

Can I get e-mail contact to Carl? I should help him but need some kind of communication...

Is he actively working on the BeOS port? If so I'd like to get in touch with him. The wrapper for the Be API is hopefully going to start work in the next week or so. It's back at the top of my priority list.

Great news for me!
To compile Pixel32 for BeOS the only features I need for now are findfirst/findnext routines and correct .so library compilation and loading...
