TShellTreeView.HideSelection property
Indicates if the highlighting for current selection(s) are hidden when the control loses focus.
Declaration
property HideSelection:;Description
HideSelection is a
Boolean property which indicates
whether tree nodes in Selected or Selections are drawn in the selected
state when the control loses focus.
The value for the property is True if tvoHideSelection has
been included in the Options for the control. Changing the value
in the property causes tvoHideSelection to be included in or excluded from
Options. The control is redrawn if Selected has an assigned tree
node when the property is changed. The default value for the property is
True.
HideSelection is used in conjunction with the HideSelectionMode property which controls whether unfocused selections use the native LCL behavior or the behavior used in the Delphi VCL TTreeView control. HideSelection is not relevant unless HideSelectionMode is set to the Delphi behavior. The native LCL drawing style always draws selection nodes on the unfocused control using the "grayed" or "dimmed" drawing state. In Delphi mode, the highlighting (not the tree node) is hidden when HideSelection is True.
The value in HideSelection is used in the SelectionIsHidden method called when the DoPaintNode method is executed for the control.
Use MultiSelect to enable or disable multi-selections on the control.
Use RowSelect to highlight a selected tree node using the entire width for the the tree view control.
