TCustomGrid.TabAdvance property

property TabAdvance: TAutoAdvance read FTabAdvance write FTabAdvance default aaRightDown;

Description

TabAdvance is a TAutoAdvance property used to determine the behavior for Tab key navigation in the grid control. The default value for the property is aaRightDown, and indicates the Tab key moves the selected cell to the right and then to the first column in the next row. A Shift+Tab key press results in the reverse of this behavior. See TAutoAdvance for the other enumeration values and their usage.

TabAdvance is relevant when goTabs has been included in the Options for the grid control. Otherwise, the Tab key causes the next control to become focused.

TabAdvance is used in the implementation of the KeyDown method in TCustomGrid.
