TApplication.HasAsyncCallQueued function

Member of TApplicationprotectedIn unit Forms

Indicates whether there are unprocessed asynchronous calls pending in the application queue.

Declaration

pascal
function HasAsyncCallQueued: Boolean

Function result

Returns True if there are unprocessed asynchronous method calls for the application.

Description

HasAsyncCallQueued is a Boolean function which determines whether there are any unprocessed requests pending from QueueAsyncCall. The return value is True if the internal TAsyncCallQueues instance in the application has any unfinished asynchronous calls in the current or next queue messages.

HasAsyncCallQueued is used in the TApplication.Idle method to prevent placing the application in a wait state until pending asynchronous calls have been handled. If there are pending asynchronous events in the queue, then the application is not idle and further calls to ProcessAsyncCallQueue are deferred.

Added in LCL version 5.0.
