TApplication.GlyphDrawEffectsEnabled property
Indicates whether drawing effects are enabled for mouse-over and mouse-down events for button glyphs in the application.
Declaration
property GlyphDrawEffectsEnabled: TApplicationGlyphDrawEffectsEnabled read FGlyphDrawEffectsEnabled write FGlyphDrawEffectsEnabled default gdeSystem;Description
GlyphDrawEffectsEnabled is a
TApplicationGlyphDrawEffectsEnabled property which controls glyph
drawing effects for buttons in the application. It determines whether glyph
drawing effects are applied when mouse-over or mouse-down events occur for a
button control. The values defined in GlyphDrawEffectsEnabled can enable or
disable the glyph drawing effects for the all button controls, or defer the
decision to the theme services supported for the platform / widgetset.
When enabled, the glyph image is modified using the drawing style needed for a mouse hover or mouse down event. The default value for the property is gdeSystem, and causes the theme services capabilities to be used for the platform or widgetset. See TApplicationGlyphDrawEffectsEnabled for the values allowed in the property and their meanings.
GlyphDrawEffectsEnabled is similar to the DrawEffectsEnabled properties found in TButtonGlyph, TCustomSpeedButton / TSpeedButton, and TCustomBitBtn / TBitBtn - but its scope is applied application-wide instead of to a single button control. The value in GlyphDrawEffectsEnabled is used when one of the controls sets its DrawEffectsEnabled property to deeApplication. The value is used when the Draw method in TButtonGlyph is called to get a scaled image list with the images used for the various button states.
Added in LCL version 5.0.
