TDBEdit.DataField property
Contains the name of the field with the value for the control.

DataField is a
String property which contains the name
for the field in the linked dataset where the value for the control is read
and written. Read and write access to the property value are redirected to
the
FieldName property in the internal
TFieldDataLink
instance for the control. Changing the value in DataField causes the value in
Field to be updated.
Set the value in DataSource to the component which provides access
to the dataset for the data-aware control.
