TWinControl.ParentWindow property
The window Handle for the Parent widget.
Declaration
property ParentWindow: HWND read FParentWindow write SetParentWindow;Description
ParentWindow is a
HWND property with the window Handle
for the Parent widget. A new value assigned to the property is ignored when
Parent has already been assigned.
The property value is assigned when the CreateParented constructor or the CreateParentedControl class function is used to create a new TWinControl instance. Setting the property to 0 (zero) causes the handle to be destroyed. 0 is the unassigned handle value.
ParentWindow is used in the CreateWnd method to form an association between the Handle in the widgetset class instance and the window handle for a control.
