TCheckListBox.Style property
Controls the appearance of items on the list box control and indicates whether the control uses "virtual mode".
Declaration
property Style:;Description
Style is a
TListBoxStyle property which controls the
content and appearance of the items drawn on the list box control. The property
value (along with others) is used to set parameter flags when the control is
created. The default value for the property is
lbStandard, and
causes the appearance and text height native to the widgetset to be used to
draw the
Items defined for the control.
lbOwnerDrawFixed and
lbOwnerDrawVariable cause the
control to use either the
OnDrawItem event handler or an internal
drawing routine to render the Items on the list box control. lbOwnerDrawFixed
indicates that all items have the fixed height specified in ItemHeight.
lbOwnerDrawVariable indicates that any given item has the height determined by
the OnMeasureItem event handler.
lbVirtual indicates the the control is in "virtual mode" where the
items displayed on the control are provided by the OnData, OnDataEvent, or
OnDataFind event handlers. Items is
not used to store the strings
displayed on the control. The value in Style is used when a new value is
assigned to the Count property. An exception is raised if the control is not in
"virtual mode" (Style = lbVirtual).
