TField.AsUTF8String property
Field contents as a UTF8 String.

property AsUTF8String: UTF8String read GetAsUTF8String write SetAsUTF8String;Description
AsUTF8String returns the field data as a UTF8-Encoded string (single byte character string).
If the field contains an AnsiString, the data will be converted to unicode according to the
CodePage.
If the field contains a unicode string, the string is UTF-8 encoded.
When writing the written data will be converted to single-byte string.
Note that if the field is an ansistring field, some characters may get lost when writing.See also
