README

👁️ BlindSide

BlindSide is a lightweight Windows utility developed in Delphi (VCL). It acts as a "digital periscope," allowing you to visualize and manage monitors that are outside your field of vision (turned off, facing an audience during presentations, or projectors).

🚀 Features

  • Monitor Mirroring: Real-time visualization of the monitor opposite to the one where the app is currently placed.
  • Window Rescue: A "panic button" that pulls all windows lost in the blind monitor back to your current visible screen.
  • Visual Quality: High-quality rendering using Halftone scaling, ensuring text remains readable even in thumbnails.
  • Stay-on-Top: The window floats above others, ensuring you never lose sight of the "other side."
  • Smart Aspect Ratio: Automatically maintains the correct aspect ratio (16:9 or native) when resized.
  • Persistence: Automatically saves window position and dimensions to a config.ini file for the next session.
  • Dynamic Cursor: Displays the actual system cursor (pointers, hand, etc.) in real-time over the preview.

🛠️ How to Use

  1. Run BlindSide.exe.
  2. Drag the window to the monitor you are currently looking at. It will automatically start mirroring the "other" screen.
  3. Click the Rescue Button (Lifebuoy icon) if you need to retrieve windows or programs that opened on the turned-off/invisible monitor.
  4. The window supports Screen Snap, sticking to the edges of your desktop for better organization.
