MBDAK3-Flight-Simulator
A 3D flight simulator, supporting both OpenGL and D3D, as well as real-time shadows using Carmack's reverse. I wrote it when I was 16, so ugly code and written in Delphi 7.

MBDAK III is a flight simulator written in Delphi 7. While obviously the wrong programming language, it featured a few cool things:
- 3D rendering uses an abstraction layer, supporting both OpenGL and Direct3D (and via MiniGL also 3dfx Glide)
- Real time shadow calculation using the famous Carmack's reverse method!
- Audio library was also abstracted to support different audio libs
- sophisticated 3D triangle collision detection algorithm implemented, using bounding spheres and then triangle per triangle collision detection.
- Powered by 3dfx, tested on Voodoo5 5500
I wrote that game when I was about 16, so the code looks pretty ugly. I still hope someone finds it useful; or takes it as a motivation to build your own stuff!
