VCompr – Video Compressing Tool 🗜️🎬

VCut is a lightweight command-line tool to quickly compress videos.

• Supports any video format
• You decide how much compression is used (for example, 95 means 95% of the original file size)
• Very easy to use

REQUIREMENTS

• FFMPEG

--- Linux ---

Download the latest release:

https://github.com/balta-dev/vcompr/releases/download/1.0/vcompr

Open your Download directory and move the file to /usr/bin to use it globally:

cd {your/download/directory}
sudo mv vcompr /usr/bin

--- Windows ---

Download the latest release:

https://github.com/balta-dev/vcompr/releases/download/1.0/vcompr.exe

Go to your Download Folder, right click and open "cmd" or "powershell", and paste that command to use it globally:

Copy-Item .\vcompr.exe "C:\Windows\System32"

Ready! Usage examples:

• vcompr 95 "filename.mp4"
• vcompr 50 "filename.mkv"
