DOSMenu

A quick launch menu for DOS

Why

I setup DOSBox and started to add some games from my childhood. Then installed Norton Commander and started configuring the user menu (F2) to quick-launch the games from there. Then added more games, and more games, and - to my surprise - NC said it had enough and truncated my menu. Apparently, it had/has a limit for the number of items that it can display.

So I had to create an alternative launcher :)

How

By remembering Pascal from highschool and actually using code I wrote some 25 years ago. In case anyone's wondering, I'm not old - I'm experienced!

Before anyone starts digging through the code: I know it's messy and duct-taped with good intentions. I didn't care that much, I just wanted it to work. Maybe I'll clean it up at some point. Maybe not.
