Das Wasserfallmodell ist ein sequenzielles Vorgehensmodell, das die Entwicklung anhand aufeinanderfolgender Abschnitte organisiert. Das Wasserfallmodell gibt es in verschiedenen Ausprägungen.
Folgende Phasen werden im Wasserfallmodell verwendet:

• Analyse
• Architekturentwurf
• Implementierung
• Test
• Betrieb und Wartung
