Self estas ŝlosilvorto kiun oni povas uzi en ekzemplo-metodoj por direkti al la objekto sur kiu la nuntempe plenumigita metodo estis envokita. Rezervita vorto self uzita por reprezenti ekzemplon de klaso en kiu ĝi aperas. Oni povas uzi na Self por atingi la membrojn de klaso kaj kiel referenco al la nuntempa ekzemplo.
