Es gibt folgende Compiler-Modi

• FPC {$MODE FPC}
  Dies ist der original Free Pascal-Compiler-Modus, er ist der Standard-Modus des Compilers.
  \
• OBJFPC {$MODE OBJFPC}
  Dieser Modus hat die gleichen Möglichkeiten wie der FPC-Modus.
  Hinzukommen noch die Möglichkeiten von Object Pascal.

• TP {$MODE TP}
  Dies ist der Turbo Pascal-Kompatibilitätsmodus.

• DELPHI {$MODE DELPHI}
  Dies ist der Delphi-Kompatibilitätsmodus. Er stellt die Kompatibilität zu Delphi 7 zur Verfügung.
  \
• MACPAS {$MODE MACPAS}
  Der Mac Pascal-Kompatibilitätsmodus stellt die Kompatibilität mit MACPAS zu Verfügung.
  \
• ISO 7185 {$MODE ISO}
  ISO 7185 Standard Pascal.
