Komentit ovat ihmisille luettavaksi tarkoitettuja muistutuksia/huomautuksia jotka edistävät ohjelmakoodin luettavuutta. Niitä ei tulkita käännettäessä. Ne yksinkertaisesti ohitetaan.

Lohkokommentit

Lohkokommentit määritellään { ja } tai (* ja *) merkeillä.

• { tai (* on kommentin alku
• } tai *) on kommentin loppu

Esimerkki:

    { public declarations }

Rivinloppu kommentti

Rivinloppu kommentti alkaa merkinnällä // ja jatkuu rivin loppuun asti.
