Would it be possible to include a library binary for the 64 bit compilation on the Qt4 binding web page? That would be a great help.

I removed the QetDesktopPalette code in windowsflags (to cleanup the demo), It is still available upon request.

This release is mainly to fix 64bit compilation (reported by Treeve).

I am continue thinking of this trouble. Maybe we can define a function in the bindings lib which will work at moment as your code in GetDesktopPalette (or repeat 1:1 qt code where they are doing what we need). Then Zeljan request a new legal way of that and we just redirect your bindings lib function to this new way.

In this case we can start using a function soon without further thinking of it.

What do you think?

We must request it as soon as possible, so ppl (other customers) can see that and vote for solution, and then it can be added to qt-4.5 todo's. Paul pls. write exact what I have to request from qt.

We need:

A legal way to request TitleBar palette from qt. Qt itself generates this palette in several places like:
QPalette QMdiSubWindowPrivate::desktopPalette() const void QWorkspaceTitleBarPrivate::readColors()

All places are private and we cannot relate on them. We need a methods in a public api which do the same things: return QPalette with titlebar colors.

In short, you want something like QPaletteTitleBar & QPaletteTitleBarText enums to get those palettes ?
