new patch: *ScrollBar.Max fix in qtwinapi->SetScrollInfo() *Partially fixed ShowModal() (no more CPU burning) , look at the comment there.

I changed your sleep 1 to sleep 10. imho 1 is too small.

Applied, and thank you very much for all the patches =)

Hi all,

Here it is

* BUGFIX menus and actions must be destroyed (QtWSMenus)
* BUGFIX reverted ShowModal as it was in first implementation, my last patch causes more problems than good things
+We should create real QMainWindow for Application.MainForm (qtwidgets)
* Problem:
If we put toolbar onto form, than it goes over main menu. How to say to TCustomToolBar, that there's MenuBar over , and it should go to MenuBar.Height with it's top position ? I know how to do that via Qt, but LCL is my problem ;) .

+MDI support added (commented with ifdef for now, but it's fully useable). +TCustomListBox events added onClick, onDoubleClick +TCustomListBox TStrings implementation (qtprivate) was very slow, now, it is 100 times faster (before insert 20000 items (cca.120byte each) -> 15 minutes, now it takes just 2 seconds.)

tnx to Den for fast class adding ;)

Question (this is LCL related):
Is it possible to use native Qt TTreeView ,instead of drawing&handling it via LCL ?

cheers,
zeljko

Hi,

Should I also update the qt bindings? And in this case, should I also patch them, like the last time?

thanks,

TreeView and ToolBar components can be written from the scratch since they are custom drawed now, but most of widgetsets have native.

so at this moment it's impossible to write complete new TreeView in eg. QtWsXXXX unit ? or yes ? or we need to wait rewriting of base class ?

tnx

Thanks, applied, with modifications.

I also fixed compilation with fpc 2.1.x

And of course updated the bindings.

If you wish, I can wait until you have a complete implementation before applying, now that new bindings are available.

thanks,

Hi all,

Attached gzipped patch (cca. 45k ungzipped).

+ Full implementation of TCustomListView (OnClick event doesn't work ... don't know yet what could be the reason).
+ Full (re)implementation of TStatusBar
* Fixed bug with TProgresBar handle destroying.

cheers,
zeljko

I get this error message, when compiling on win32:
D:\lazarus\source\lazarus\lcl\interfaces\qt\qtwidgets.pas(3533,44) Error: Identifier not found "QTreeWidget_indexOfTopLevelItem"

huh...seem that there's IFDEF LINUX around QTreeWidget_indexOfTopLevelItem ?!? don't know why it's there, Qt documentation says nothing about indexOfTopLevelItem() in multiplatform usage, so it's useable. Remove IFDEF around this proc and try to compile.

This is a bug in my method to determine the list of methods of every platform.

My lookuplist gets confused on identical methods (only difference is the "const", but this does not matter for pascal)

snippet C++ header:
    int indexOfTopLevelItem(QTreeWidgetItem *item); // ### Qt 5: remove me
    int indexOfTopLevelItem(QTreeWidgetItem *item) const;

Is fixed now, will make new release soon. Some other functions were affected too.

QFocusEvent::reason
QShortcutEvent::key
QShortcutEvent ::shortcutId
QShortcutEvent ::isAmbiguous
QImageIOHandler ::setFormat
QTreeWidget::indexOfTopLevelItem

Den Jean
