Correction:
The best way to send a diff is context mode (-c). If it fails, we can guess from the context where to apply it.

The sent patch I applied manually, because 'Patch' didn't accept the diff.

This is my second post for this subject, I believe this small patch is important since without it I can't seem to change the role of user when connecting to the database.

Hi all,

I have a very small change to interpase.pp so that you can specify the role upon connecting to the database, here is the patch.

50,51d50
<     FRole                : String;
<
87d85
<     property Role : String read FRole write FRole;
386,387d383
<     if (FRole  '') then
<       DPB := DPB + chr(isc_dpb_sql_role_name) + chr(Length(FRole)) + FRole;

Regards,

Yoyong Hernan

Could you possibly generate your diffs in unified mode diff -u

Okay, I will do it the next time around. Do I still need to create a diff for this small patch? Because I can't use my test computer for maybe two days....
