Hi !

Have anyone programmed in lazarus to a BeagleBone board ? I´d like to know if the binaries works on that hardware and which kind of applications are possible to be developed for that.

Thanks a lot.

For some easy tests you can try the ARM Linux zips on these two pages: http://www.ctrlterm.com/

Just download directly on your BeagleBone, extract, open a terminal, and compile. Nothing to install!

A friend of mine did (with a little help from myself).

Cross compiling and remote debugging is not that easy, so he installed Lazarus on the BeagleBone and it works fine.

To access it from a PC VNC seems a good solution. As VNC installs it's own X-Server, you can deactivate the Video software and hardware on the board to save memory and memory bandwidth.
