Fatal Error

When I try to Compile I get an error that it is "Unable to open file C:\FPC\2.2.2\bin\i386-win32\fp.cfg" but when I go to that directory in Windows Explorer, I can find that exact file.  Any ideas on how to fix this?

Check the permissions on the file. You should be able to write to it;
if you are under Vista, this may require some work.

I am running Windows XP. Checking permissions on the file? I looked at the properties of the file and it the Read only box is Unchecked, so writing to the file should be allowed as far as I can tell.

I'd guess that a better test would be to open the file with Notepad and see if you are allowed to save changes (but from other messages on this list, it seems that there can be other issues...).
