When i create an library template with Lazarus, dont save it and build it then an libproject1.so is created as expected in /tmp. Wen i save the same project and rebuild it, an project1 executable is created. with fpc 2.0.4 this creates always an lib as expected.
anybody an idea ? is this an bug or an feature ?

To make it easy to isolate the problem, I would take the compiler options that lazarus uses (Compiler Options -> Show Options) and call fpc from the command line.
