Free Pascal's FCL contains a basic XML parser and a DOM implementation. Support for XPath will follow very soon (I've already got it working here, there are only some minor bugs to fix before I can release it), and XSLT in the not too distant future. But before XSLT can be supported, the new XML parser must be finished (with namespace support and so on) - and this one doesn't have the highest priority at the moment.

Hallo,

i have tried to compile the FPC IDE in the 1.0.x branch, but the compiler fails to find the drivers.pas unit. I have the source of borland pascal and turbo vision, but this drivers-unit doesn't work. What should I do to compile the IDE myself? The current snapshot of the IDE (Win32) isn't working.

Sorry, but you can't compile the IDE currently yourself. Free Vision contains still Borland copyrighted code, so we can't publish it. We're still looking for a solution.
