Inc procedure
Increase value of integer variable.
Declaration
procedure Inc(var X: TOrdinal)Description
Inc increases the value of
X with
Increment.
If
Increment isn't specified, then 1 is taken as a default.
Inc can be used on typed pointers: in that case it increases the value with
Increment the size of the type the pointer points to.
This works independently of the setting of the
$POINTERMATH directive.
Errors
If range checking is on, then A range check can occur, or an overflow
error, when an attempt is made to increase
X over its maximum value.
