Not described here; this is what TCustomBufDataset.LoadField says of it:

An empty implementation in TCustomBufDataset.

LoadField is an empty method which makes it possible to use TCustomBufDataset as an in-memory dataset. LoadField sets the value in CreateBlob to False. The return value for the method is always False.
