Description

InternalDelete is an overridden procedure used to perform actions needed to delete the current record in the dataset. InternalDelete implements the method defined in the ancestor class.

InternalDelete ensures that the dataset is positioned on the record represented by the values in the ActiveBuffer property. A Bookmark for the record is used to remove the record from all of the active indexes in the dataset. InternalDelete ensures that an update buffer is allocated for the modified record using the value ukDelete in its UpdateKind property. Memory is not allocated for the pre-editing record buffer; it is not needed for delete operations. Memory allocated for the record update buffer is retained to allow restoring the record when the CancelUpdates method is called.

InternalDelete is used in the implementation of the Delete method.
